• The use of Yak bone is intended to remind us of the very fact of our impermanence, that death will eventually come to us all, and to embrace lives filled with compassion, service, loving all, and happiness (without the pursuit of happiness) whether the things happening in our life are good or bad.

• Om is a sacred sound and a spiritual icon in the Hindu religion. It is also a mantra in Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, and Sikhism. It refers to Atman (soul, self within) and Brahman (ultimate reality, the entirety of the universe, truth, divine, supreme spirit, cosmic principles, knowledge).
